Pickard is a technically-sound netminder with a penchant for stopping the puck. Despite playing at the junior level, he has already proven capable of taking on a heavy workload.
Future
Pickard will spend another season honing his craft in the WHL, and will likely join the Lake Erie Monsters in 2012-13 if he continues to progress. At his current stage of development, he is projecting as a starting NHL goaltender a few years from now.
